Sideways Scene is a game introduced in the later seasons of the American series.
Ryan Stiles watches the other three causing mayhem in the game.
In this game Colin Mochrie, Wayne Brady, and one other performer must act out a scene while lying on the floor. The camera is positioned from the ceiling, thereby giving viewers the appearance that the players are in an upright position.
Aisha Tyler will interrupt the scene every certain amount of seconds to have the performers to incorporate a Film or Theater style, much like you would see in the game Film and Theatre Styles. Ryan Stiles does not this play this game due to a bad back and being too tall for the ceiling camera.

- Nyima Funk removed her shoes during this game (in case her heels accidentally hit Wayne or Colin), making her the first cast member (not a special guest star) to do a game on the show in bare feet.
